Brave New Visions: The Émigrés who transformed the British Art World tells the story of the pioneering émigré dealers and publishers who revolutionised Britain’s art world. Part of Insiders / Outsiders – a nationwide, year-long festival celebrating refugees from Nazi Europe and their indelible contribution to British culture – this major new free exhibition brings together over 40 works by renowned artists including Francis Bacon, Frank Auerbach, Gillian Ayres and John Heartfield to illustrate the histories and visions of these art world luminaries and highlight their profound influence and impact.
