At the successful conclusion of our 6th WATER Art Competition, Helena Wilsen-Saunders from the United Kingdoms emerged as the first prize winner. It’s an oil painting titled “Flooded Fields Near Dedham.” The painting skillfully depicts the eerie silence after a flood, showcasing the aftermath and tragedy when the life-giving element, water, becomes destructive.
