Agora Gallery is thrilled to announce its debut at the Hamptons Fine Art Fair located at Southampton Fairgrounds, in Southampton, NY, from July 13 to 16, 2023. We will present a selection of original contemporary artworks by eight artists from North America, Europe, and Australia, ranging from acrylic and watercolor paintings to collages, photographs, and bronze sculptures. Our thoughtfully-curated selection features work that is sophisticated and appealing, with an exciting contemporary-urban penchant.

Texas-based painter and former graffiti artist William Atkinson brings a flair of street art with his collages riddled with symbolism and pop culture that offer poignant commentaries on pressing social issues. Photographer Danny Johananoff challenges visual perception with snapshots of horse races that embrace the ephemeral quality of life and encourage viewers to reflect on the transient nature of memory. Dutch artist Katja van den Bogaert’s large abstract canvases burst with color and verve, while Connecticut-based painter Mark Schiff delights the senses with his travel-inspired paintings of water lilies. Crowning our seasonal collection are Mela Cooke’s exquisite bronze sculptures, which offer a glimpse into the artist’s personal fascination with swimmers and add a whimsical, light-hearted tone to the presentation.
