It’s been a couple of weeks since London Art Fair inaugurated the global art calendar for 2024, initiating the art world year with fresh new concepts and ideas as well as a remarkable array of works by iconic names.

As 2024 unfolds, there are plenty more exhibitions and events to enrich your cultural calendar – check out our selected highlights for February below, including many which celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and its profound contribution to the art world this LGBT+ History Month and beyond.

WE ARE QUEER BRITAINQUEER BRITAIN, KING'S CROSSQueer Britain is the UK’s first bricks and mortar national LGBTQ+ museum. It is an essential place for all regardless of sexuality or gender identity, to find out about the culture they have been born into, have chosen or seek to understand.

Queer Britain’s inaugural exhibition, We Are Queer Britain!, celebrates Queer life focussing on the period since the first Pride March in London in 1972. It won the Museum Association’s Best Small Museum Project of the Year Award 2022.

Visit QB and see the award winning exhibition at 2 Granary Square, in London’s King’s Cross from Wednesday – Sunday; 12-6pm.
