Berlin’s club scene is more than just an escape; it’s a gateway to new realities where you can define yourself on your own terms. Whether you come to dance, to connect, or simply to be, you’ll find a community that welcomes every part of who you are. In Le bal infernal, photographer Benita Suchodrev offers a window into the characters and stories that shape Berlin’s nightlife.

Since her arrival in Berlin in 2008, Suchodrev has been documenting the unique energy of the city’s nightlife through her lens. Her intuitive and personal approach results in raw, unfiltered moments that reveal the hidden narratives behind every fleeting expression. Her long-term photographic study also serves as a reminder of the importance of preserving these spaces and not taking the freedom they provide for granted.

"Beneath the party façade, these moments speak to a deeper part of the human condition: the endless longing to feel physically and spiritually free"Benita Suchodrev
